July 2019 – Interviewed by KJZZ in Arizona about new testing laws introduced in that state.
April 2019 – Interviewed by New Jersey’s Asbury Press about the state’s attempt to pass legislation legalizing adult-use cannabis. Interviewed by Boston Herald on the impact of legalization on black-market cannabis.
Mar 2019 – Interviewed by Denver 7 360 (Colorado ABC affiliate) over proposed Colorado bill to allow public investment in the cannabis industry. Interviewed by New Jersey PBS for a story on cannabis education and employment opportunities.

June 2018 – Interviewed on state-wide Colorado Public Radio to discuss Canada’s legalization of recreational cannabis and the potential implications for Colorado (audio-recording). Interviewed by the Orlando Sentinel about diversity in the medical marijuana industry. Interviewed by Canada’s National Post for an article about partnerships between cannabis companies and Canadian universities and colleges. Interviewed by Asbury Post in New Jersey for an article on the legal complexities of the cannabis industry in the United States.
May 2018 – Featured in Marijuana Business Magazine article on CEO succession and Memorial University Gazette article on cannabis legalization. Interviewed by Denver Post for article on production levels in the Colorado cannabis industry.
April 2018 – Appeared on two Newfoundland, Canada radio stations – VOCM and CBC – on Tuesday, April 24 as well as in an article on the Canadian Broadcast Corporation website and in the Telegram newspaper. Interviewed by Mike Davis with the Asbury Park Press (part of the USA Today network). My Business of Marijuana course was featured in a CNN.com 4/20 feature article on university programs in conjunction with a television feature by Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
Feb 2018 – I published an article in The Conversation on Jeff Sessions’ actions as Attorney General that has had over 40,000 views and been picked up in a number of online (Fresh Toast, Public Radio International) and offline media outlets. I was also interviewed by The Cannabist as they sought predictions on future sales in Colorado’s cannabis industry.
Jan 2018 – KPBS San Diego interviewed me for a story on regulatory barriers to entry in the cannabis industry.
Nov 2017 – I was interviewed by the Belgium newspaper De Tijd about the commercialization of cannabis.
Oct 2017 – I was interviewed live on Global News Radio 770 CHQR to discuss lessons learned from Colorado legalization regarding public consumption relevant to the Canadian province of Alberta. The Calgary Herald also interviewed me for an article on public consumption in Alberta.
Sept 2017 – I was quoted in a MJBizDaily article about a large-scale proposed sale in the Washington cannabis market. The Denver Business Journal published an article based on a 9News story about my Colorado Marijuana Market report. The Calgary Herald interviewed me for an article about Canada’s move towards legal retail sales of recreational cannabis. The Indianapolis Business Journal quoted me in an article on potential opportunities for HVAC companies in the industry.
June 2017 – I was interviewed by the Boston Globe regarding a debate over recreational marijuana taxes in Massachusetts and by the Toronto Star regarding Canada’s upcoming legalization of marijuana. HydroLife magazine contacted me for a story on the need for professional training in the cannabis industry. Law Week Colorado referenced my Colorado Marijuana Market Report.
May 2017 – I was interviewed by the Denver Post regarding proposed changes to Colorado’s state recreational taxes.
April 2017 – My Business of Marijuana course was featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education. Salon.com also published an article about the course as did The Smokers Club. NBC news in Denver filmed the first day of the course for a feature that ran in over 25 different media markets across the United States.
March 2017 – I was featured in a Poets & Quants article on my Business of Marijuana course. The Clarion, DU’s student newspaper, published a feature on my Business of Marijuana course.
Dec 2016 – My Colorado Marijuana Market Report was featured on Colorado 9News Next with Kyle Clark and in Marijuana Industry News and The Pueblo Chieftain and The Hemp Gazette.
September 2016 – I was interviewed by 9News regarding the recent drop in marijuana prices in Colorado and the potential impact of these lower prices on the industry, Colorado’s economy and the general public.
